The report is very evident in itself that the universities are struggling to make the reputational ground with global employers that like Institutes of other Asian nations. Talking about last year the Indian institutes who made to the list has shown the slight improvement in the ranking as IISc Bangalore slides up one rank and is currently on 28th position in the list. On the other hand IIT Delhi showed a great jump in the employability ranking and landed to 58th position from 145 in the last year.
The 2018 report reveals that leading companies in most countries value soft skills, such as communication and collaboration and whereas country like China value harder, practical skills more.
Data analysis of the Global University Employability Ranking reveals that the even this year US is continuing to dominate the list by rapidly narrowing the employability gap globally.
