The adidas Iniki Runner, a brand new silhouette from ADIDAS ALERTS TWITTER the German sportswear label, makes its official debut today. Featured in one of its inaugural colorways red/white the sneaker s aesthetic is inspired from 1970s running culture, while it also bears a similar profile to the current NMD silhouette. Comprised of neoprene and suede overlays, the vibrant profile is accentuated with contrasting white accents located on the three stripes branding across its ide panels, leather heel tab and a full-length Boost midsole unit. Finally, a versatile gum outsole caps off the sleek design altogether.
Unlike past releases, this pair ditches ADIDAS ALERT the tonal upper in favor of a much more colorful aesthetic. What looks to be a woven upper, comes in an array of different colors coming together resulting in a pretty colorful ADIDAS EU and vibrant motif. Just like all the past Pharrell x adidas NMD Human Race drops, this pair also comes with large branding on it which happens to read EARTH on one foot and BODY on the other.
While the adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 was introduced this past Fall 2016, its successor with the 4.0 is now previewedpared to its predecessor, the silhouette features a slightly sleeker ADIDAS EQT profile, in addition to bearing a new primeknit construction. Much of the sneaker s recognizable aesthetic essentially stays intact, such as the signature three stripe caging system, TPU heel counter and a full-length boost sole unit in white. The model has not been given an official stateside release date by adidas, but it should be worth mentioning that select international retailers will be releasing these beginning March
